Night Pennant Grand Final

A great result for the Night Pennant Side in winning the 2018/2019 Division 3 Grand final. It was a very close tussle with our friends from Glen Waverley, but we prevailed by two shots.

The team results were:

Barrie Castieau’s team lost by one shot  15 to 16; Geoff Crawford’s team had a draw, 14 all and Barrie Epstein’s team won by 3 shots, 17-14

The hosting club of Murrumbeena Park put on a lovely supper event the match and we were presented with the winning medallions.

Special thanks to Alan Barwick for coming along as the emergency and for club members Ian Wilson, Ian McLean and Graeme Robertson for being there on a cold and miserable night cheering us on.

Very special thanks to Phil Rosengarten and Chris Cullinan for being very worthy Selectors and team Co-ordinators for the season. They did a great job. Well done to all players for a wonderful season.
